Lankan Tucker was created out of the desire to reinvent outdated and under-represented Sri Lankan food. Born as a simple market stall, Lankan Tucker has grown to become a favourite at a wide variety of Australian festivals and most specifically to the founding of the cafe/restaurant on Albion Street in Brunswick West. What was once a mere representation of the Sri Lankan culture, has become a corner stone for the next wave of modern Sri Lankan dining, taking inspiration from Melbourne's own leading breakfast/brunch culture.

We pride ourselves with serving some of Melbourne's best coffee, sourcing our beans from the highly regarded St. Ali Roasters, renowned for grounding the revolutionary St Ali's Coffee shop, and whose baristas have trained and mentored those now creating for Lankan Tucker.
